New Study: 3 out of 4 Preschoolers Have Access to a Smartphone

Recently UK market researcher Childwise released their study where they asked 1,000 parents about their child under five’s media consumption. Childwise’s study showed that 3 out of 4 preschool aged children have access to a device, most even had their own dedicated tablet or computer.

The study additionally determined that these young children are on average spending two hours and 48 minutes watching videos. This is a 12 minute increase from last year’s two hours and 36 minutes. Contrary to this high amount of watch time, children being involved in arts and crafts and enjoying trips to the library has increased according to parent’s reports to the Childwise study.
